Today (June 8, 2014), New York City hosts the National Puerto Rican Day Parade along 5th Avenue. Long live Puerto Rico! The parade takes place each year on the second Sunday in June to recognize the 4 million stateside Puerto Ricans and the 4 million Puerto Rican natives.
