One evening a team had set up a “JESUS” film showing in an African community. As the people gathered to watch, team members noticed a man sitting by himself. His name was Ibrahima.*
It turned out that Ibrahima was a Fulani. The Fulani are nomads and “missionaries of Islam.” For centuries the Fulani people have been conquered and have conquered. To this day they compel people throughout West Africa to become Muslim … sometimes through jihad.
Since Ibrahima was by himself (in a non-Fulani community), the team assumed he felt stigmatized by his culture. They invited him to join the others, which he did.
