African Arts Festival ~ Brooklyn

The 43rd International African Arts Festival began in Brooklyn yesterday (July 3) and runs until July 6. There’s a variety of performances, arts, crafts, food, and more. This festival began in 1971 as a simple block party fundraiser with 2000 attendees. Today, a non-profit organization runs the event and about 75,000 come from everywhere.
